A Court case involving former Keighley Cougars chairman Carl Metcalfe has been adjourned.
Mr Metcalfe was due to appear at Bingley Magistrates Court yesterday charged with drugs offences, but was excused attendance on medical grounds.
The 56-year-old, of Bronte Villas, Cross Roads, is accused of five offences including conspiracy to supply controlled drugs over a four-year period between July 1994 and June 1998.
His co-accused, Anthony Brown, 34, of Greenfield Gardens, Eastburn, was granted unconditional bail.
Mr Metcalfe's wife Valerie, 52, also of Bronte Villas, and their sons Paul Metcalfe, of The Hayfield, Haworth, and Mark Metcalfe, of Charlton Grove, Silsden, and another man, John Colgan, of Low Bank Lane, Oakworth, have all been charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.
All six have been bailed to reappear before Bingley Magistrates on July 1.
