Rawdon gave notice of their title intentions when they slammed neighbours Guiseley in Saturday's Airedale and Wharfedale League game.
Rawdon, seeking to better last season's runners-up spot, smashed the Guiseley bowling attack for 252-5 with David Whittaker leading the way with a superb 95.
He shared a second wicket stand of 149 with his skipper Bruce Percy .
Percy crashed 13 fours in his stylish 92 and then took five wickets at a cost of 49 runs as Guiseley were put out for 134.
Percy made astute use of his bowlers to get the extra points by bowling Guiseley out. He used seven bowlers in all with Jamie Davey making a rare appearance with the ball to take 3-3 off 5.2 overs.
