aid collected in Keighley for the Kosovar refugees is on its way to the Balkans.
And the people of Keighley have been praised for their generosity.
Two tons of medical equipment, clothes, blankets, children's food and other aid has been given to the Friendship Link charity nationally. The lorry-load of aid will now be driven out to Albania over the next few days.
The aid follows an earlier mountain of goods which left Keighley for the Balkans.
Major Leslie Wooler says the lorry is bound for a refugee camp at Kukes.
He says: "The response from people in Keighley has been wonderful but we need to keep it going because these refugees are going to need help for months and months to come."
Medicines, antiseptics, soap, blankets and sheets can still be donated, via the Keighley Disabled People's Council's Temple Row Centre, and will be taken out to Albania.
at a later date.
