A hand-made wedding cake is on offer to the first person who can make a generous donation to help Kosovan refugees.
The two-tier cake, decorated with spring flowers, was lovingly made by Catherine Turner for her son Mark's wedding in the Dales this month.
But it was called off and the 66-year-old is unhappy about the prospect of her hours of work going to waste.
"It could actually be two separate cakes if necessary although there is enough for about 100 slices," said Mrs Turner who lives on a boat at Bradley. "Someone could use it for a golden wedding anniversary or to put on display for a raffle or something like that."
Mrs Turner, who makes and decorates all her family's cakes, is hoping that a shop will be able to display the cake in the window so people can see it.
She and her husband are planning to leave for the south of England at the end of the month so they want to get rid of it before they go.
"It could be useful for an organisation which is already raising money for Kosovo and which could perhaps raffle it," added Mrs Turner.
l Anyone interested in either displaying it or taking it for themselves and making a donation towards the Kosovo appeal can get in touch with her on 0411 360 195.
