Bradford City boss Paul Jewell will sit down and plan his summer recruitment drive for next season's tilt at the Premiership over the coming week.
The Bantams will tonight continue their celebrations at winning a place among English football's elite when they face a John Hendrie Invitation XI at Valley Parade, kick off 7.45pm.
The game is certain to be a spectacular climax to a memorable few days which started with City beating Wolves 3-2 last Sunday to clinch automatic promotion.
Jewell is planning to play for both sides tonight and is relishing the occasion. However he admits that the planning for next season is uppermost in his mind.
The City boss said: "I spoke to the chairman yesterday and first of all we have a couple of decisions to make regarding out-of-contract players.
"But as a club we are still savouring the moment. The Premier League still have a round of games left to play so we will sit down and decide who we would like to target sometime next week. The budget has also to be finalised."
Since winning a place in the top flight, City have already been linked with a move for Sheffield Wednesday defender Jon Newsome but Jewell vehemently denied he had targeted the former Leeds man.
Meanwhile, City are expecting a crowd of more than 10,000 for tonight's clash between the current squad and Hendrie's XI, which will be made up of former Bantams stars such as Lee Sinnott, Greg Abbott, Mark Ellis, Chris Waddle, Peter Litchfield and Chris Wilder.
Jewell said: "I am anticipating a carnival atmosphere and I know the players are looking forward to the occasion.
"Every member of the squad will be playing a part. They deserve all the plaudits which are coming their way
"I hope to play for both sides in the game although when playing for John's side I might have to wear shinpads on the front and back of my legs when facing a couple of players who haven't been in the side recently!"
Admission tonight for the Ciba/Sunwin Stands is £10 (concessions £5) while a family ticket is available for one adult/one junior for £10. Admission to the Kop is £5 (conc £2).
Jewell is also delighted that the Football League have broken with tradition to award City's heroes a silver salver and individual medals.
The City boss said: "That will cap a fine season for all the players. They certainly deserve some recognition for what they have achieved."
