City's promotion season was crammed full of goals, goals and more goals.
It's been a difficult task, but I've managed to choose a top ten (in no particular order), writes Joanne Earp.
City 3, Bury 0
For me the goal of the season, from Stuart McCall. Todd picked up, passed to Beagrie, a flick on to McCall, who plays a one-two with Mills and chips it into the net.
Wolves 2, City 3
The last match of the season and the goal which ultimately sealed promotion. Lee Mills wins the ball and leaves it to Robbie Blake who drags it past two defenders with his right foot and slots it across the 'keeper with his left.
City 4, Norwich 0
A real solo goal. Jamie Lawrence bursting through the middle at speed, leaving the entire Norwich defence in his wake and adding a cool finish.
City 4, Crewe 1
The referee even applauded this one! Robbie Blake picked up the ball in midfield, turned the defence inside out - twisting one way then another - before unleashing a peach of a shot.
Stockport 1, City 2
Peter Beagrie at his best - a fierce shot which sealed the points. A brilliant 25-yarder which came off the inside of the post and rolled in.
QPR 1, City 3
Ashley Westwood's goal was a bit of a scramble, but I'm including this one because it was the first time the training ground free kick where McCall flicks it over the wall to Blake paid off.
City 2 Barnsley 1
Fairytale stuff. Gordon Watson coming off the bench to score two goals in six minutes and send the crowd absolutely stark raving bonkers.
Barnsley 0 City 1
Barnsley must be sick of Gordon Watson. Another super sub appearance and a great header which curled into the net.
Tranmere 0 City 1
A penalty from Beagrie. But I'm including this one for the 50-yard run into the area from Darren Moore. It was a double-take moment.
City 2 Portsmouth 1
The 'flukey' goals from Mills and Sharpe make it into the top ten - if only to annoy Alan Ball. One great chip and a cool header.
