AFTER four weeks Yeadon stand proudly at the top of the Bradford League's Second Division having nothced three victories following their opening day wash out against Keighley.
Damon Gormley's side gained victory in a tense game at Lidget Green when the home side came within four runs of Yeadon's total of 122.
Opener Neil Elvidge made 21 for Yeadon but Simon Gormley went cheaply as did a succession of Yeadon's batsmen as the Lidget bowlers chipped away.
Skipper Damon Gormley however held things together with an excellent knock of 60.
Lidget lost a couple of early wickets to Darren Murray and John Roper but then T Butt with 26 and A Farooq with 25 looked to be setting their side on the winning trail until Damon Gormley again got amongst the wickets in mid-innings with a return of 3-32.
Naeem Khan again had a major role to playb with hisreturn of 4-37 off 14.5 overs and Darren Murray came back to to assure victory with the wicket of number ten I Khan.

Esholt went down by five wickets at Saltaire where M Wasim took 3-26 and S Wood 3-14.
Only South African Pierre De Bruyn got among the runs for Esholt with 25.
Bradford and Bingley notched up the day's highest score with 239-5 at Cleckheaton. They were coasting at 181-1 but then Andy Yates grabbed a hat-trick to stop them in their tracks. Former Yorkshire Academy batsman Richard Wilkinson hit a superb 85 and Martin South 80 while David Pennett chipped in with 34.
Unfortuantely for the champions rain interrupted the game and overs were lost and they had to settle for a point with Cleckheaton at 108-5.
The Bees had an easy win in the Priestley Cup on Sunday when they took on Spen Victoria and retricted them to 93-8.
On a very wet Bingley ground with the boundary moved in to avoid patches which were flooded the previous day Bingley got home by four wickets.
Leaders Farsley lost their first game of the seasson when they fell to East Bierley. Farsley were put out for 121 with Mark Ross hitting 22. Bierley knocked off the runs for the loss of four wickets.
