Bosses are lining up to take over the site of a former mill in Keighley which has been put on the market for £650,000.
The former Low Bridge Mill in Longcroft is being sold by Bradford firm Eddisons Commercial.
Between 30 and 40 inquiries have been made for the 68,000 sq ft site which currently consists of a three-storey mill, a single storey warehouse block and additional land.
Firms are looking to demolish the old mill, which was until recently the home of worsted spinners Wilson Midgely which has ceased trading.
A spokesman for Eddisons said that there had been a big interest in acquiring the site as a number of people have their eye on redeveloping the site and it is likely new jobs would be created as the site was given a new lease of life.
He said: "It is a good site to redevelop as the land around it will be of additional interest to people taking a look at it."
The contents of the mill, which include a wide range of spinning equipment, are also being sold by Walker Singleton Stewart Newiss of Halifax tomorrow at the mill.
The machinery has been marketed internationally by the firm which hopes to get a good prices for it.
Alan Chapman, from the firm, said he could not say what the machinery would fetch at the sale which has been widely advertised. "But I expect a large number of people to be there," he added.
