Bradford City are investigating the possibility of extending the Valley Parade capacity by around 2,000 for their first season in the Premiership.
The Bantams won a place among football's elite with a memorable 3-2 victory at Wolves ten days ago and look set to play in front of a full house every game next season.
The magnificent new all-seater Kop is due to open in time for the Premiership kick off and will take the ground capacity back up to around 18,000.
However the demand for season tickets in the past few days has illustrated just how much interest has been generated by City's success.
Chairman Geoffrey Richmond said: "I have to stress that we are only investigating the matter, but I can confirm we are looking to increase the capacity.
"We would like to erect a temporary stand seating around 2,000 fans between the new Kop and the Sunwin Stand.
There are going to be a lot of disappointed people trying to get tickets for games next season and we want to do all we can.
"The seating would be similar to the type Manchester City erected a couple of seasons ago when it was used by our supporters in an FA Cup tie. However I have to stress we are only investigating the matter at the moment."
City are also examining the possibility of beaming live coverage of home fixtures to venues around Bradford.
Newcastle United operated a similar scheme last season where coverage of games at St James' Park was viewed in cinemas and leisure centres in the city by around 1,500 and 2,000 fans.
Richmond said: "As a club, we are looking at all options of allowing as many people as possible to see our games live."
Meanwhile, City will become the 32nd club to be inducted into the Premier League's Hall of Fame following their promotion.
The Hall of Fame will be located in London's County Hall.
It will be a unique tribute to the game and fans, both famous and not so famous, will be honoured by hand casts.
These will be set alongside television footage, audio, photographs and a special film called 'Hope and Glory'. The new attraction opens on Saturday June 12 and an advance booking line has been launched which is 0870-8488484.
