Bradford City are to launch a travel club which will guarantee 1,000 Bantams fans a ticket for every away game next season.
The Bantams will be travelling to the best grounds in England next season when they travel to Old Trafford, Anfield, Elland Road and Highbury during their first season in the Premiership.
Demand is sure to be high for most of City's away games next term and chairman Geoffrey Richmond believes the travel club, which will cost adults £117.50 and juniors £70.50 for the season, is the fairest system available.
He said: "We have two main aims for the new away travel club. First, we want to ensure that fans who want to go to all the away games can do so. If a fan goes to Southampton then he or she should also have the opportunity to go to Manchester United.
"And secondly, we also want to encourage fans to use the official club travel. The club will work whereby every adult travelling with the club will receive a £5 discount for every trip.
"With 19 away games that will amount to a £95 saving for an adult for the initial outlay of £100 plus VAT. Juniors will receive a £3 discount for every trip on official club travel."
The allocation of tickets for visiting clubs in the Premiership varied enormously last season with Newcastle providing just 1,078 compared to Wimbledon who offered 9,741 places at Selhurst Park.
Richmond said: "I think whatever we do will result in criticism because it is such a sensitive area but we feel this is the fairest scheme.
Subject to us receiving at least 1,000 tickets for an away game, all members will be guaranteed an away ticket.
"What I want to stress is that this does not mean that supporters who don't join will not be able to get any away tickets. Looking at last season's figures, most allocations were well above the 1,000 mark."
"Once the members have taken their allocation, then the rest of the tickets will be available for our remaining season ticket holders. In the Premiership last season, most clubs provided visiting sides with between 2,500 and 3,000 tickets."
City say membership of the travel club, which will be restricted to just 1,000, will be available from Tuesday on a first come, first served basis for existing season ticket holders only.
