CRAVEN ATHLETIC swept to a 10-0 Jeff Hall Cup victory over Grapes in torrential rain on Friday night.
Both teams played good football despite the conditions, but the difference between the Premier and First divisions became clear as Craven dominated the scoring. They hammered in six goals in the first period and followed up with four more without reply, but Grapes refused to give in.
Craven Athletic took on old rivals After Dark in the Premier Division cup final and took a 3-2 interval lead in a hectic first half.
Two goals without reply took Craven to a 5-2 victory, but After Dark missed several crucial chances.
Grapes were in action again in the First Division cup final, but their strain of playing two games in less than 24 hours took its toll.
St Annes Celtic Reserves won 7-0 with goals from Dave Mcmanus (3), Ian McLared (2), Steve McGarry and Andy Bland.
