Silsden Under-18's reached the second round of the Wiliam Spencer Trophy with a seven-wicket win over Ridddlesden despite a fine innings of 3f6 from opener M Conroy.
Silsden bowler M Shuttleworth took three quick quickets as Riddlesden were restricted to 98-6. In reply Silsden wicketkeeper P Hanson scored 38 not out and T Hodgson 42 after both openers fell with only eight runs on the board.
Steeton contained Oakworth to 86-4 with the South Craven side winning by nine wickets thanks to A Gledhill 35 not out and N Thackeray 33 not out.
Silsden play Haworth at home and Steeton are at home to Ingrow St John's in the quarter-finals.
