Historic church windows have been restored to their former glory.
The West Windows of the Priory Church in Bolton Abbey, each of which is 25ft high and 4ft wide at the base, were last refurbished in Victorian times.
Alan Musgrave, secretary of the parochial church council, said at the time of the last major restoration of the building nearly 20 years ago the windows did not appear to need any work.
Recently, though, they had started to bow dangerously and it became clear they would fall if nothing was done.
Work to restore the windows has taken six weeks and the £15,000 cost was met by the trustees of the Restoration Appeal set up in the early 1980s.
