Knockout specialists Dudley Hill will be out to repeat a giant-killing feat at York when they make their customary appearance in the Silk Cut Challenge Cup third round later this month.
The National Conference side ousted the Wasps from the third round in 1997 and now have a chance to reproduce their heroics after being paired with the Northern Ford Premiership side again.
NFP clubs all came out of the hat first in last night's draw, but home advantage counted for little three years ago when Dudley Hill triumphed 21-14 at the Ryedale Stadium or in 1996 when York lost 10-6 to West Hull.
Keighley Cougars coach Karl Harrison must wait to see who his side face as they meet the winners of the delayed second round tie between Cardiff and Rochdale Mayfield who they met at the same stage last season.
Draw: Whitehaven v Shaw Cross, York v Dudley Hill, Hull K R v Ideal Isberg, Swinton v Waterhead, Doncaster v St Gaudens (Fra), Sheffield Eagles v Thornhill, Widnes v West Hull, Workington v Skirlaugh, Featherstone v Wigan St Patricks, Wath Brow v Eccles, Castleford Lock Lane v Villeneuve (Fra), Barrow v New Earswick or Featherstone Lions, Keighley Cougars v Cardiff or Rochdale Mayfield, Dewsbury v Stanley Rangers, Batley v Oldham St Annes, Oldham v Wigan St Judes, Leigh v Siddal, Lancashire Lynx v Walney Central, Rochdale v The Army.
