A pregnant woman who was the victim of a vicious attack in her Keighley home is still recovering a month after the assault.
Jenny Harper, 25, who is now about 11 weeks pregnant, still suffers headaches from her head wound which needed 23 stitches. And broken fingers on both her hands have still not fully healed.
Hairdresser Jenny was attacked by a masked man wielding a baseball-like club on Saturday, December 11 at 6.30pm as she prepared tea at her Hardwick Street terrace home near Lund Park, Keighley.
She has since moved out of the house with her partner, 28-year-old Simon Oxley, a Bradford Royal Mail manager, and they are living at an address in Oakworth.
Jenny, who works at Clippers Hair Studio in Allerton, Bradford, said: "My fingers are still not right and one is still very bent.
"I might have to have it broken again to straighten it. My head still aches and I'm not sleeping very well."
A 32-year-old woman was attacked five days after Jenny was assaulted, as she crossed Lund Park, Keighley, on her way home at 5.10pm.
She was hit over the head from behind.
Keighley Police Acting Inspector Bob Iles said: "Task Force officers are still making house-to-house inquiries in the area."
Officers are also keeping an "open mind" about a possible attack on a 52-year-old Keighley man as he walked in Lawkholme Lane, Keighley, on Thursday, December 23.
Insp Iles said he was examined at Airedale Hospital and medics believed his injuries could have been caused by an attack.
But no forensic medical examination had been carried out and officers understood the injuries could have been related to alcohol.
Anyone with information about any of the attacks is asked to telephone Keighley Police on (01535) 617080.
