The significance of the next eight days on Bradford Park Avenue's season was intensified by last Monday's surprise defeat at the hands of great rivals Farsley Celtic.
If Avenue are to re-establish their claims for a promotion place from the UniBond Division One they will need six points from their next two games.
They travel to lowly Eastwood Town tomorrow having won just one of their last ten away games. The next Saturday they host Radcliffe Borough who ousted them from third place last month.
Striker Phil Denney missed the 4-1 reverse at Throstle Nest but is back in contention. Paul Marquis and Jonathon Jones may also feature and striker John Francis is available again after suspension.
Guiseley picked up a useful four points from their two holiday fixtures in the Premier Division and hope to add another three tomorrow which would see them level with visitors Hucknall Town.
Manager Bobby Davison is hoping to field an unchanged side but is waiting for reports on midfielder David Cooke and striker Tony Agana who both took knocks in Monday's 2-1 win over Blyth Spartans.
Thackley manager Trevor Best is hoping to sign two players before his side meet defending champions Ossett Albion in the Northern Counties East Premier Division.
League rivals Liversedge face a stern test of their title hopes with a visit from Brigg Town. Midfielder Andy Kenton is still suspended and defender Andy Yates failed a fitness test on his injured knee.
Eccleshill United are the only one of the three local sides in the division to be travelling tomorrow. They journey to Derbyshire to face mid-table Alfreton Town. Midfielder Andy Sutcliffe is ruled out after injuring an ankle and top scorer Stuart Taylor is doubtful with a hip problem, but defender Gary Shaw returns.
In the UniBond Division One Farsley Celtic hope to emulate their triumph over Avenue with another derby win when they visit Harrogate Town.
