The Paul brothers are facing an energy-sapping 24,000-mile ro-und trip after being called up for New Zealand's Anzac Day Test with Australia over the Easter holiday.

Bradford Bulls duo Robbie and Henry will be on duty for the Anzac Day Test Down Under on Good Friday (April 21) - the same day last season's beaten Grand Finalists take on London Broncos at Odsal.

But the Bulls are insisting they are back on duty with them for a potentially crucial Easter Monday clash with Wigan at the JJB Stadium.

"We have been in touch with the Kiwi authorities and, while we have to accept Henry and Robbie will miss the London game, we want them booked on the first available flight on the Saturday," said Bulls' chairman Chris Caisley.

"Such a trip will obviously take its toll but we want them available to play at least some part in the Wigan game which could well be a very important one."

The Kiwis seem unlikely to stage any protest though as their national coach Frank Endacott will also have to make a quick dash from the southern hemisphere to take charge of the Wigan team.

The Pauls have been key figures in the Kiwi line-up in recent years and missed the home game with Halifax last season for the same reason but were back for the Bank Holiday game at Castleford ten days later.

Meanwhile the Bulls were today set to welcome new signing Brad Mackay from Australia.

The former Kangaroo tourist was being greeted by Bulls coach Matthew Elliott this morning and with David Boyle set to follow this weekend the full squad will be available for training next week.
