ON Sunday morning Ben Rhydding Golf Club captain Peter Atkinson held his millennium drive in.
The competition, a pairs foursome Stableford, was won by the in-form Trevor Lockwood, partnered by Gerald Hardaker, with 37 points. The captain presented the winners with their prizes.

The result of the annual winter league competition was as follows: Division One - 1 T M Lockwood 166 pts; 2 T Rockett 159 pts; 3 P Kendall 157 pts; 4 B Owens 154 pts. Division Two - 1 I Clark 159 pts; 2 M V Lockwood 156 points; 3 G Fuller 151 pts; 4 B Andrews 150 pts.
