Long Lee Juniors football club has hit the net with its own Web site -- which is open to fans around the world.

The forward thinking club, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has taken the step forward to keep players and their parents up to date with matches, training and social events.

Club secretary David Anlezark said: "We are always looking for new ways to generate interest in the club and attract more sponsorship. As more and more of our boys -- and local businesses -- have access to the internet we decided this was the way forward."

Already the club has its own on-line 'chat room' where players and officials can contact each other and over the coming weeks they are planning to develop the service even further with match reports, club news, and fixtures, together with details of fund raising events.
