Two all-Alliance clashes feature in the third round of the West Riding Sunday Cup tomorow - with the weather having played havoc with the fixture list.
This Sunday should have seen fourth round action - but there are several outstanding third round matches including Hudsons against Albion Sports and EBU against Stanley Road.
Former Albion player Billy Peyton, adding his experience to a young Hudson's side, will be keen to put one over his old team.
At Fairfax the Stirks are in opposition. Rocky, a former Stanley Road player, is back in contention for a place in Unity's line up while his nephew Scott, a former EBU player, is Stanley Road's leading scorer.
Albion's reserve side compete in the West Riding Trophy with a tremendous double in store if both teams can win their respective cups.
The reserve side should reach the next stage after being drawn at home to Division 2B side Clayton Royal.
Dave Ward's Westwood forget their promotion hopes for a week, with a visit to Glasshoughton, while Westwood's fellow Division One title aspirants East Ward are at Pellon.
Oakenshaw, one of the senior clubs in the competition, are at Rowley Hill WMC, a side that has recently emerged as one of the best Sunday teams in Huddersfield.
Also hoping for a weather respite are Bolton Woods who attempt to play their third round FA Sunday Cup round for a fourth time with a visit to Hull to play Orchid Park. The game is at Hall Road Rangers' ground (1.30pm).
In a limited league programme Bradford Moor have the opportunity to go top in the Premier Division for the first time if they can bring three points home from their trip to Stuart Drake's Wyke Wanderers.
Wibsey WMC and Victoria Rangers are involved in a relegation battle at Horsfall.
Despite only three wins Rangers' small squad have been able to raise their game against the top sides and the common factor between the two teams is that they have both taken points from champions EBU.
Only two points above bottom club Wibsey are Queensbury, who are at home to Ventus. The two clubs enjoyed a couple of memorable cup clashes two seasons ago and it will be interesting to see how some of Ventus' older players cope with Queensbury's youngsters.
In the tight First Division, where seven points separate the top six, once again promotion candidates will be taking points from one another when Thornton and Fairweather Green meet in a derby clash.
Thornton, second on goal difference, include the Holmes brothers, Darren and Carl who played at Fairweather. With four defeats already, Fairweather need to be winning if new manager Aidey Howard is to take the club straight back to the Premier Division.
