West Riding County Amateurs Sunday Cup and League action: Albion Sports found the going tough at Hudsons in the all-Alliance Sunday Cup clash.
The home side threatened strongly and failed to convert two one-on-one chances before two penalties gave Albion a first half lead.
Danny Mullarkey pulled a goal back and, after strong efforts to equalise came to nothing, Taj Singh slid in a third goal for Albion near the end to keep his side in contention for four cups.
Last season's semi-finalists Oakenshaw beat Huddersfield Premier leaders Rowley Hill WMC 2-0 in heavy conditions.
Mark Wilkinson and Steve Clay shared the goals, and keeper Simon Sharpe proved a first half hero by saving a crucial penalty.
In the second all-Premier clash, Stanley Road beat rivals East Bowling Unity 2-1. After Road had started to look the better side, it was Unity who broke away when a clever flick over a defender by Tim Thornton enabled him to pick his spot.
Just when the tie looked to be going away from Stanley Road, Scott Stirk and Sean Constable struck in a five-minute spell to earn Road a fourth round tie against Leeds team Swinnow Vics.
East Ward were disappointed to lose 3-1 at Pellon after beating better sides in Overthorpe and Keigh-ley Juniors in the first two rounds, while better finishing by visitors Highwood led to Peel Park failing to reach the next stage with a 3-2 defeat.
Otley Town, leaders of Division One, had to settle for a point at home to second-bottom Rawdon Old Boys, Ross Barron scoring for Town after Chris Farnell had given Old Boys the lead. Second-placed Stump Cross narrowed the gap to four points behind Otley after a 4-1 home win over Farnley.
Lower Hopton strengthened their bid for honours with a last-minute winner at Ventus-Yeadon Celtic. Shaun Dixon gave Hopton a first half advantage before Keith Turner pulled Ventus level midway through the second half. Craig Conley denied any hopes Ventus may have had of taking a point by scoring Hopton's second in the 89th minute.
Salt Old Boys were denied all three points at home to Bay Athletic. Leading 1-0 for most of the game following Richard Walker's strike, the Old Boys were aggrieved when a penalty was awarded against them in the final five minutes, Ian Stephen-son converting the spot kick to deny the home side all three points.
Silsden strengthened their bid for promotion from Division Two in their first season with a 9-0 victory over Dudley Hill Rangers, who have their own promotion ambitions. Mark Bland (2), Martin Bland (2), John Edges (2), Mark Jones, Stuart Gray and Andy Geary shared the goals.
Keighley Shamrocks gave their promotion hopes a lift by taking over second place ahead of Kinsley Boys after a 2-1 success at Silsden.
Roberttown stretched their lead at the top of Division Three to four points after a 3-2 home victory over Ventus-Yeadon Celtic Reserves.
Morley Town could have taken second place, but missed two penalties, both saved by Bowling Celtic keeper Paul Booth.
Mark Duckworth netted twice for Celtic to take the points in a 2-1 win.
