A security guard has been slashed across her chest by a teenage knifeman in a terrifying attack.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after the 30-year-old woman - who was on her own - was cornered by the knifeman and a second youth in a derelict house in Charteris Road, Lower Grange, Bradford.
The victim, who works for Bradford-based Pioneer Security Systems Ltd hired by the Council to secure and check empty properties, is being looked after by her family following her ordeal at 2pm yesterday.
Acting Detective Inspector Paul Fountain of Toller Lane CID said the woman received one cut to her chest and was left "very, very traumatised".
The youths followed her into the house and launched the attack after trying to rob her.
The detective said: "It was a sustained attack which lasted about ten seconds. The knife went right through the victim's clothing and cut her chest. The wound was not life-threatening.
"The youths also took her glasses off and smashed them which meant she could not chase after them. They stole her mobile phone which she dropped as she tried to fight them off."
The knifeman was described as Asian, aged about 16, 5ft 3in tall, clean shaven with a slim build and dark, long hair in a 'curtain' style cut. He wore a black nylon jacket.
His accomplice was also Asian, aged around 16, 5ft 2in tall, with a slim build, dark hair in a 'curtain' style cut and was wearing dark grey nylon padded jacket.
