It was a bad night for local boxers on last night's Bradford Police Boys Club bill at Pennington's with all seven losing.
Ali Hussain, Kamil Ayaz, Nissar Hussain, Sirfaraz Younis and Barry Yates from the host club were all defeated on points.
Michael Donohue, of Batley & Dewsbury, was outpointed by Sheffield's John Tewkes.
And to complete a miserable night for the locals, Keighley's Bobby Venn was forced to retire in the second round of his contest with Paul Wilson of Handsworth.
The planned 17-bout bill was reduced to ten contests because many boxers were still recovering from flu and were not fit to compete.
