Mum Kyra Willis has been left fuming by a mix-up which resulted in a packet containing a full syringe and needle being delivered through her letterbox.
The drug, which had been prescribed for her, should have been sent to her doctor's surgery in Buttershaw but had been delivered by mistake to her home in Welburn Mount instead.
The 30-year-old, who has two sons aged seven and ten, said: "I couldn't believe it when I opened it and saw a syringe full of liquid and a needle.
"I was really angry. If my kids had got hold of it anything could have happened. Like any kids they are always curious and want to know what things are.
"They could easily have opened it and ended up squirting the syringe at each other or hurting themselves with the needle - I just don't want to think about it."
As well as her name and address, the package had on it the name of her doctor's surgery.
"There is no way it should have come to a house anyway because no-one gives themselves injections unless they are diabetic or something like that," she said.
The package was sent from Shelf Pharmacy in Carr House Road where manager Andrew Boile apologised for the error
"We quite often deliver injections to people's homes and either the district nurse or the doctor calls to administer them at some point later. But in this case we hold our hands up," he said.
"What happened was that my delivery man delivered it to the house and it should have gone to the surgery. We have apologised to Miss Willis."
