The mother of abducted toddler Daniel Grimshaw has her bags packed ready in the hope of flying to Pakistan for an emotional reunion.
Amy Grimshaw, 18, has been distraught since the 16-month-old was snatched from her near her home in Wrose on November 9.
Daniel's estranged father Murzhar Mahmood is also missing and police fear the youngster may have been taken to Pakistan.
Now the Daniel Grimshaw Homecoming Fund is being set up as a contingency to cover any costs the family might have to meet in getting the toddler home. And Amy is ready to leave at short notice.
"I am definitely all set to go as soon as we hear any news. I've got my bags packed ready and waiting. I just wish it would hurry up," she said.
Despite her torment, Amy allowed herself a smile at a fundraising event for her son's homecoming.
She and her family were joined by friends and regulars at the Bold Privateer pub in Wrose for an evening of entertainment in aid of the new charity appeal.
The charity night featured entertainment by duo Genetix and a raffle for prizes, including donations by Bradford City and Leeds Rhinos.
Amy's sister Adele Grimshaw, 25, said: "We're in the process of setting up a proper bank account just so that we've got funds in case Amy has to go anywhere.
"It's to make sure we can do whatever we need to do to get Daniel back
home.
"We've got people tying yellow ribbons on the tree outside the pub and all down our street and when he comes back we're going to swap them all for balloons."
Daniel Tetley, who formed Genetix with his sister Leanne, was at Woodend Middle School with Amy.
He said: "When we heard from the landlady that they wanted to do a charity night we were very happy to do it."
Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Daniel or his father should ring Eccleshill police on (01274) 376059.
