The draw was made this week for the Wynn and Cowling Cup competitions in the Craven Cricket League with Haworth West End facing a tough early tie against league champions Embsay.
The tie of the round will probably by at Cure Hill where Oakworth take on Bradley while Wynn Cup holders Pendle Forest are away to Thornton. The newly promoted teams have mixed fortunes with Skipton CI away to Sutton where man a cup run has floundered. Long Lee go to Barnoldswick III, a repeat of last year's first round, and must fancy their chances. Newcomers Denholme cross the hill tops to take on Ingrow St John's at Morton.
The holders of the Cowling cup, Embsay, face a tricky first round tie at Chatburn while runners-up Barrowford face Ingrow St John's. Oakworth will expect to progress at Pendle forest III. Division Three champions Bradley will be quietly confident of seeing off the challenge of visitors Pendle forest II Denholme entertain Division Four champions Long Lee and the other promoted side, Skipton CI, are at home to Foulridge.
