The search is on for Keighley's unsung heroes. Whitbread is once again staging its annual scheme to reward outstanding volunteers.
It is looking for individuals, organisations and companies who have made outstanding contributions in their own communities.
Prize money totalling £26,000 is up for grabs.
Christine de Cruz, who manages the awards programme, says: "Voluntary and community action is a powerful means of social inclusion. It enables everyone - whatever their skills or background, age or race - to feel part of their community. The awards give these people the recognition they deserve and helps motivate more people to become involved. This year we are hoping for more entries than ever before."
Nominations can be made by calling the 24-hour hotline on 0870 2411124, or the web site (www.whitbread-volunteerawards.co.uk). The deadline for entries is April 7.
