Bradford Sunday Alliance: Third-from-bottom Queensbury proved their recent win over Oakenshaw was no fluke by beating the Premier Division's second-placed club Bolton Woods 2-0.
Fittingly, both goals came from their two outstanding 21-year-olds - defender Johnny Brown and striker Mick Naylor, whose current form is as good as any forward in the division.
After an even first half, in which both sides should have scored, Queensbury's second half determination paid dividends, although Bolton Woods might have had their minds on their important FA Sunday Cup match at Luton next weekend.
After winning their first game the previous Sunday, Wibsey WMC completed a 3-1 double over Victoria Rangers, sending the Eccleshill club deeper into relegation trouble.
Taking advantage of a bad 'bobble', Paul Haggerty gave Wibsey the lead on 30 minutes, but after a 75th minute up-and-under Vics earned an equaliser.
Debutant Darren Stoneman, introduced from the bench, helped turn the tide. He set up Haggerty for the second goal and was involved in the third, scored by Carlo Moorhouse.
The unpredictable First Division promotion race took another twist at Thornton where the home side beat Westwood 3-0.
After a goalless first half Pete Forsythe put Thornton into the lead. Thornton finished the stronger through Forsythe's second goal and a Mick Shanks' late strike.
Fairweather Green's young side dropped two valuable points for the second week running. On both occasions they have let a two-goal lead slip to draw 3-3. Paul Exley scored twice for Fairweather, Peel Park - who did not look like a team at the bottom of the table - replying through established players Phil Bean, Andy Sugden and Andy Wilson.
With Saturday first team midfielder Richard Wilson having an excellent debut, Eccleshill United Sunday made it 12 wins out of 12 with a 5-0 win over Clayton Orient in Division 1A.
Glen Mouatt, appearing in the defence at 47 when he came on as sub for his son Craig, made United's back four's combined age a staggering 185 years.
Third-placed Undercliffe CC shared a 1-1 draw at fourth-placed Bolton. The main talking point was a disallowed goal by Steve Daykin which entered the net a second after referee Dennis Shaw had blown the half-time whistle.
Alan Holdsworth opened the scoring and hit a late winner in Quarry's 2-1 at Greengates.
Division 1B promotion hopefuls Hare and Hounds made amends for a first match of the season defeat against Wrose Albion, winning the return match 7-2.
Right back Ian Walker's run down the flank and shot proved the goal of the game, though an own goal scored by a Wrose defender who lobbed his own keeper from the halfway line ran it close.
Monkey moved into third place in Division 2B by thrashing Half Way House 9-0. Kevin Robinson, Mark Carter and Stuart Griffin all scored twice and Richard Griffin, Paul Sharkey and Mick Dawson completed the rout.
Royal Clayton went fourth by beating Woodman Rovers Reserves. Royal took a 3-0 lead after a goalless first half, Mark McLaren (2) and Gary Boldy scoring. Ian Taylor pulled two back late on for Woodman.
Paul Kelly scored all three for Farmers as they won 3-2 at home to New Inn in Division 3A.
In the Bankfoot derby between the two teams who had only won one league game between them Red Lion beat Bankfoot Lions 7-4, thanks to a four-goal haul from Andy Gartland.
George and Dragon ended one of the last 100 per cent records in the league when beating Holme Wood Athletic 4-1 in Division 3B.
The visitors built a 3-0 lead by half-time and then defended well to secure the three points. Andy Stebbins, Sean Dixon, John Wainwright and Carl Goodchild were the scorers for the winners.
Wibsey WMC Reserves kept their interest alive with a resounding 6-1 result at home to Rosse. Simon Haley scored twice and Dave Simon, Karl Wood, Johnny Clifford and Dave Lawrenuik completed the win which takes Wibsey back to the top.
Lithuanian Rovers extended their lead at the top of Division 4A with a comprehensive 8-0 win against Oakworth Juniors. Geoff Ashton hit a hat-trick, John Gilbody netted twice and Emanuel Hannay, Chris Hannay and Richard Bell got one each.
BMS Autocentres won by a similar score at home to Orange. Steve Bromley was the chief destroyer with four goals, Paul Hickey grabbed a brace and Dave Lawrenuik and Johnny Clifford also netted.
Bradford Moor Sports led 2-0, but then trailed 3-2 at Harps International. However, they equalised and Steve Rhodes grabbed a winner. Darren Nero, John Binns and Dean Fearnley had scored earlier for Sports.
