Bradford Park Avenue travel to Lancaster City tomorrow without four first team regulars for a UniBond League Challenge Cup quarter-final.

Avenue manager Trevor Storton is disappointed that his Division One side again have a depleted squad to face a Premier Division club.

"It will be a handicap to us for sure," he said. "But the Challenge Cup is important to us and we are going there with a positive attitude hoping to do well "

"We have three players cup-tied and one suspended. We have five doubtful through injury as well, so it is all up in the air. We will have to see what the situation is in the morning. There could be changes."

Phil Denney, Mark Wilson and Gary Edmunds are cup-tied, Jason Maxwell is suspended and the doubts are over Dave Poppleton (knee), Mark Hancock (ankle), Martin James (thigh), Clive Freeman (thigh) and skipper Wayne Benn (hamstring).

Eccleshill United step into unknown territory when they travel to London Colney in the last 32 of the FA Carlsberg Vase.

Centre back and captain Darren Hamer made a successful comeback from injury last Saturday and keeps his place, while reserve keeper Gary Clay and Scott Price are included among the five substitutes.

United's Northern Counties East Prem-ier Division rivals Thackley and Liv-ersedge both have home league games.

Thackley manager Trevor Best signed striker Dave Watts from Ossett Town last night and he comes straight into the squad. Best also wanted to include Stuart Burgess, but a lack of reserve fixtures has prevented the midfielder proving his fitness.

Liversedge, who are making a bid to lure Thackley skipper Jock Sayer back to Clayborn, have keeper Richard Bibby restored to the line-up following flu.

In the UniBond Premier Division, Guiseley face a visit from basement club Winsford United.

The Cheshire outfit have yet to win a league game this season from 24 starts, and with the return fixture next Saturday Guiseley will be hoping they go two more games before breaking their duck.

Farsley Celtic's First Division opponents Whitley Bay are also rock bottom of the table.

Celtic have defender Lee Connor back from a one-game ban, but skipper Steve Learoyd (back) and striker Martin Regan (sciatica) are both doubtful.
