Silsden LADIES made a spectacular start to West Riding FA's first women's County Cup competition, beating Parkside Raiders 12-1.
Shelley Donohoe set the ball rolling with two early goals and Jodie Anderson left everyone open mouthed as she lobbed the keeper from outside the goal area.
By half time the score was 6-0 with Celine Donohoe scoring two while Shelley completed her hat-trick.
After the break Shelley Donohoe went on to take her personal total to five with her sister Celine matching her goal for goal. Edna Smith also got on the scoresheet.
Although Parkside only scored one goal they put up a good fight, but found Silsden's defence too strong and had to settle for a single consolation goal after watching the Silsden girls run riot.
