Stanbury Park Rangers 4 Three Horses 2 - Stanbury had the better of the opening exchanges in their exciting District Cup clash with fellow Premier Division side Three Horses. Ben Furness scored twice and Chris Smith was also on the score sheet as they took a 3-0 lead at the break.
The visitors fought back in the second period with two strikes from Colin Horsfield to pull back to within a single goal. Stanbury refused to let their lead slip away and Furness completed his hat-trick to make sure of a place in the draw for the next round.
Stanbury continue their successful run in the West Riding Sunday FA Cup with a trip to Rose Bull at Shipley.
Craven Athletic 4
Granby Phoenix 4
Phoenix are having a poor season by their own high standards, but the manager has been on a recruiting drive, attracting young players and on the evidence of this match they could have a say in the outcome of the championship.
League leaders Craven came out firing on all cylinders and caught Granby cold scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes. Once Phoenix had woken from their slumbers they put the home side under pressure with David Nelson pulling a goal back before the interval.
John Allen put them level after the break and hectic end-to-end action kept thins on the boil. Craven eventually got the breaks scoring two further goals, but Phoenix kept up their work rate and hit the woodwork in the closing stages.
Bocking 1
Silsden 2
Bocking dominated the first 20 minutes of the game and scored the only goal of the opening period. In an even second half it was Silsden who hit where it hurts, finding the net twice without reply. Simon Hughes scored for Bocking with Neil Pepper and Gareth Nash scoring for Silsden.
Cavendish 1
Brown Cow 2
A Chris Hird goal gave Brown cow a 1-0 half time lead and they increased their advantage with Rob Roberts scoring midway through second half. Chris Brookes pulled a goal back before the final whistle in a game which was evenly contested.
