Police are hunting two men after a suspected arson attack on a Bradford night- club.
They are keeping an open mind on whether it could be linked to Saturday's fire attack on Bradford Cathedral.
Officers at Bradford Central CID appealed for witnesses who saw the attack on the Milk Bar nightclub in Cheapside early today.
A police spokesman said two men were seen approaching the club and put what was believed to be an accelerant through the letter box at 1.40am.
The spokesman said officers were "keeping an open mind" as to whether the attack was linked to the arson strike on Bradford Cathedral which caused an estimated £30,000 worth of damage.
Ken Dolecki, operations director for the True Reason Limited company which owns the Milk Bar, said the arson attack had damaged the club's aluminium entrance door.
"The fire was started in the doorway but damage is fairly limited as the door is made of metal,'' he added. "It's just buckled a bit but we're open as usual for business.
"We've had no trouble at the club since we took it over two years ago.
"The police told us that Bradford Cathedral had a similar type of attack last Saturday."
Mr Dolecki said the club, originally called the Mirage, underwent a £100,000 refurbishment before reopening under its new name.
He added: "We operate clubs in Leeds and Pontefract, as well as Bradford, but we've never experienced anything like this."
Bradford firefighters were called to the blaze after some men in a car raised the alarm.
Anyone with any information should call Bradford Central Police on (01274) 376459 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
