Romantics are being given the chance to pop the question - via a public information board! People are invited to put pen to paper in a Valentine Day expression of their feelings, and have the message displayed.
"The Year 2000 is a Leap Year so this is a good opportunity for women as well as men to make that proposal," says Town Centre Manager Sandra Parnham. "Bashful lovers can use a pet name, but no x-rated letters will be displayed."
Messages will be placed in the information cases in Low Street and Bow Street from February 9-16.
Letters - on one side of A4 paper - should be left in an envelope marked 'Valentines' at Keighley Information Centre, in the town hall, by next Friday (Feb 4).
z If your Valentine Day message leads to marriage give the KN a call on 606611.
