KEIGHLEY ALBION join the BNFL National Cup competition tomorrow.
St Helens side, Pilkington Recs travel to Ryshworth Playing Fields for the second round match, with Albion keen to put last week's one-point defeat behind them.
Pilkington are currently second placed in Division One of the NW Counties League, and also suffered defeat by a single point margin against top of the table Portico in a St Helens derby last weekend.
Players to watch for are second row forward, John Rees, who is noted for his pace and strong running, and scrum half Alan Fletcher who creates many of the team's scoring moves.
Like Albion the St Helens club are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and are keen to celebrate with a good cup run.
Albion expect to have a strong side out and hope for a big crowd.
"Every team we play wants to take a Conference team scalp so there are no easy matches, but we hope to win this one and a good cup run would be very nice for the club and our players," said Albion coach Gary Moorby.
The match kicks off at 2.00pm.
