A newsagent is burning the midnight oil to help tell the world about Asian events in Bradford and beyond.
Sajjad Shah, boss of Saltaire Newsagents, believes his website is the first on-line guide specifically dedicated to events in Britain's Asian communities.
The Asianlink site has only been up and running for a fortnight but has already attracted hits from computer users across Britain as well as some from as far away as Pakistan, India, Australia and the USA.
Mr Shah has set up the site with his wife Shelly and friend Nadem Ullah and regularly works on it well into the early hours of the morning.
And he is now inviting anyone wanting a free listing for their event to contact him.
The site includes information on everything from religious and cultural events to cinema and theatre listings and community and charity events.
It also includes a free ads section, dating and information networks and a free draw for those submitting events for listing with future plans including a section listing sports events.
Mr Shah, of Heaton, Bradford, said they had launched the site to fill an 'information gap', adding: "I've spent hours looking but haven't come across another site specifically targeting Asian events at a local level.
"There are other Asian sites with guides on the Internet but they tend to cover major events that everyone knows about anyway rather than smaller community events.
"We've got both and the idea is if you live in or have recently moved to Bradford, or anywhere else, you can log on and find out what's happening in the Asian community at a local level.
"All the feedback so far has been good and we think it's going to be a brilliant tool for people in the community.''
Mr Shah added: "At the moment it's not making any money at all and is all being done in our spare time - I'm working at the shop from 6.30am to 6pm, go home for something to eat and then go straight on to the PC until midnight or 1am.
"We've all got jobs so we aren't depending on it to give us a living but with the way these Internet things go you never know and if it does really take off that would be brilliant.
"All the listings are free and always will be.''
