Oakenshaw travel to Selby Town's ground tomorrow for one of their hardest games of the season when they tackle Hounds in the fifth round of the County Cup.

The York and District side knocked out Oakenshaw in last season's semi-final and are favourites again this time.

Steve Clay's return from injury has bolstered Oakenshaw's midfield and with goalkeeper Simon Sharpe in great form they would love to progress.

Bolton Woods are still two rounds behind in the competition after last week's draw when the match with Lindley WMC was abandoned. Woods face an away replay tomorrow.

The Huddersfield side's danger-man is ex-Avenue player Darren Morris. He was kept quiet last week and if Woods can generate similar pressure the Alliance side should go through.

If successful they will be at home in the fourth and fifth rounds to Leeds teams Highwood and HT Sports in the following two weeks.

Albion Sports are at home in the fourth round to Monkbridge, a team who have won the competition in the past and reached the later stages several times.

If Albion are successful they meet another Leeds side, Swinnow Victoria, who beat Stanley Road last week.

After tomorrow the Alliance could boast three sides in the County Trophy semi-final.

Emulating their first team's feats, Albion Sports Reserves are at home to Ripon City Magnates.

Division 3B side Wyke travel to Yeadon Westfield.

And Martin Dolan could become the first player to appear in both county finals when his club Wrose Bull, who have fallen behind in the promotion race in Division One, travel to Batley team Oakwood Motel.

Whetley Lane Vets are at home to Old Ashtonians in the first group game in the second stage of the FA Umbro Over-40s competition.

Sean Curry has added Bob Yeadon, Brian Bairstow and Trevor Parr to his squad against the only side to have beaten them in the first stage group games. The kick-off is at 2pm at Thornton Recreation Ground.
