After dropping their first points of the season last weekend, St Annes Celtic came back with a 5-0 win against Boltmakers to stretch their lead at the top of the table.
Paul Driver and Dave McManus each scored two goals and Greg Ingham added the fifth.
Sandy Lane met Maguires for the second successive with and again came away with a 5-0 win helped by a hat-trick from Richard Hibbert and one each from Simon Wood and Dave Strathie.
In the First Division Carters had to come from behind against Malt Shovel and then went 3-1 up with goals from Andy Taylor, Dean Surley and Dave Warne. Although Malt then pulled back to 3-2 Surley's second goal looked to have made the game safe. An own goal took the score to 4-3 and only fine saves by Carter's keeper Dean Bradley, secured the points.
JPL took a 5-1 half time lead against Glen House after going behind in the first five minutes. After the break Glen House pulled the score back to 5-3 before JPL scored again to make the final score 6-3.
JPL's goals came from Leighton Shackleton, Peter Rooks, Lee Stringer, Dean Lamb and two from Paul Hickey.
