Otley are currently enjoying a two week break from Jewson National One league action.
This precedes their vital trip to Rosslyn Park who still have not given up hopes of a promotion spot.
They lie in fourth place with a game in hand over Otley but are nine points adrift.
Birmingham/Solihull are in second place with Otley's Yorkshire rivals Wharfedale in third spot.
The break from league action is giving Otley the chance to re-group and players to recover from injury as they mount their promotion challenge.
One such player Robert Whatmuff turned out for the second team in their 68-3 mauling of Driffield last Saturday.
Centre Whatmuff is continuing his build up to full match fitness and he made some powerful runs in this game.
He was one of a number of first team squad players who took the opportunity of a run out with Neil Hargreaves and Ian Judson providing a fine lead in the pack and scrum-half Peter Wright having a lively game.
On Saturday the Saracens entertain Sedgeley Park with a 1 pm kick-off due to the televised Six Nations Championship.
Full-back Ryan Duckett will have a run out in the Sedgeley Park game along with Robert Whatmuff, Peter Wright, Paul Williams, Ian Judson and Neil Hargreaves.
