Silsden Under-11's defied wet and windy conditions to beat Long Lee 8-2 after seeing Ross Croad's early goal quickly equalised by the home side. Andrew North scored the second to give Silsden a half time lead and they mastered the conditions better in the second half to run out easy winners.
North scored three more goals, Nicholas Marshall weighed in with two and Alexander Pietrovito completed the scoring for Silsden before Long Lee scored their second in the closing stages.
Scott Greenwood and Adam Wilkinson hit the net as Silsden Under-11A's 2-2 draw with Bolton Woods. Luke Lockwood was man of the match.
Nadeem Ul'Islam scored the only goal as Silsden Under-11's B went down 3-1 to Shipley. Chris Baines was man of the match.
Sutton Rascals Under-9's A put up a good fight against Silsden's strong Under-9's B team, despite going down to a 7-3 defeat. Jon Jo Berry scored four and was backed up by goals from Nathan Bradbury, Liam Mulloy and Sam Ash. Goalkeeper Mark Bradley had an excellent game.
Silsden Under-9's D beat Oakworth 9-0 with andrew Nicholson taking the man of the match award. James Gorman scored four and Aatif Rajah added a hat-trick with further goals from Jordan Halliday and Andrew Nicholson.
