Ilkley Juniors Youth team had no match on Saturday with the game cancelled due to the weather.
Their League Cup game against Bradley added to the fixture pile-up and Ilkley will now face extra matches in March and April as the team seeks to gain promotion from Division Three of the Craven League in only its second season in senior football.
This Saturday they are scheduled to play Carleton at home with a 2.30pm kick-off.
New players continue to be attracted to the Youth team, which aims to bridge the gap between junior and senior football.
Andrew Bedford has resurrected his interest in football after a few seasons away from the game and scored his first goals for the team last week in the defeat of league leaders Colne.
Another member of the McTigue family has returned to Ilkley Juniors football with Tim replacing his globetrotting brother Paul in the Youth colours, and Graham Richardson is a young player who has been recommended by the Guiseley AFC Academy staff.
The team's physical therapist, Christine Welsby, was recently awarded student of the year on her Therapist Course at Craven College and two members of the Youth squad are shortly to attend an FA Coaching Certificate training programme in Leeds. Hopefully, this will lead to an increased involvement in coaching within the Ilkley Juniors club.
