Efforts by the Sunday Alliance to play Senior Cup matches have been hit by outstanding County Cup games.

Albion Sports were due to meet Stanley Road in the Senior Cup second round.

Instead they travel to Monkbridge for their fourth round County Cup replay after failing to settle the tie at the first attempt last Sunday. Sports had several chances to have won the first game but failed to take them.

Bolton Woods, who were supposed to play Fairweather Green in the third round of the League Cup, also meet Leeds opposition in the shape of Highwood Hotel, the earlier conquerors of Peel Park Rangers.

If Woods get through against Highwood they will face Leeds opposition again the following week with a quarter-final clash against H T Sports.

Ventus United have another big game after beating Premier Division leaders Bradford Moor last week.

This week they face new leaders East Bowling Unity.

Two-goal Dave Elvidge was Unity's danger man last week. Particularly looking forward to the game will be Dave Jeng, a former member of Unity's championship side now starring for Ventus.

Oakenshaw are in one of their lowest ever positions in the Premier Division because cup football has limited their league appearances.

They get the chance to climb the table as they take on Victoria Rangers who are in desperate need of points themselves.

With Steve Blackett producing the form his club have known he is capable of, Queensbury could pull further away from the lower regions by completing a double over Wyke Wanderers whom they beat last Sunday.

The top game in Division One is Craven Heifer against Eastward.

After last week's ill disciplined first defeat at Fairweat-her Green, Eastward could not have a harder game than at leaders Craven.

If they are to get any points they will need to stifle Matt Papworth and stem the flow to Craven strikers Brian Needham and Anthony Cuff.
