THE famous Cougar scoreboard will have an important part to play in Sunday's Silk Cut clash with French side Villeneuve -- and not for the first time.
The clock and scoreboard were presented to the club in September 1934 by Omega watches in time for the first visit of Villeneuve when a crowd of 5,000 watched a Yorkshire side beat the French club 26-17.
The scoreboard has been in use ever since.
