Keighley Cougars coach Karl Harrison has told his side to expect the unpredictable when they take on French champions Villeneuve in tomorrow's intriguing Challenge Cup fourth round tie.
The Cougars boss is predicting an entertaining spectacle as his side look to build-on last week's superb performance which ended Dewsbury's 100 per cent Northern Ford Premiership record.
"I've watched a couple of tapes of their games and they are a typical French side," said Harrison. "They do the unorthodox. They work a lot of off-loads and have two or three really big forwards who carry the ball forward well.
"They also have an excellent hooker in Vincent Wulf.
"They have some very quick and gifted backs and are a good side.
"They've been champions in France for the past two years and we are not going to take this tie lightly.
"I think we will have to change the way we defend to combat their flair. We will have to probably defend wider than we have done in the last few weeks."
Villeneuve's player-coach is former Cougars favourite Grant Doorey, who was many people's favourite to land the Keighley job before Lee Crooks and Karl Harrison were appointed.
Cougars are awaiting late checks on impressive back-row duo Paul Harrison and Ian Hughes.
Managing Director Peter Rowe is hoping the fans get behind the side in numbers as they go in search of a lucrative fifth round tie.
"We want to build on last week's win and keep the momentum going," he said.
