evenge for earlier defeats, beating Hillsborough Hawks 18-6 despite fielding a number of new players. Alistair Beaumont beat three tacklers to score an individual try and the Albion defence was superb led by Andy Feather, Jackson French, Bradley Metcalfe, James Bardgett and Mark Eva.
A clever kick over the top gave the Sheffield side a chance to score a converted try before Albion hit back with Feather racing 40 yards to make it 12-6 at the break.
Second half tries from Nicky Lister and Mark Evan were capped by Lister's touchline conversion which gave him three goals from three attempts. On Sunday they travel to Elland to take on the league leaders.
Cougar Cubs Coyotes beat Lindley Swifts 32-18 with tries from Andrew Lister (2), Chris Clough, Jamie Donnelly, Shane Donnelly, Andrew North and Robert Procter. James Ogden kicked two goals.
The Cougar Cubs Under-12's played last week against West Craven Warriors and were soon back to winning ways with much better team organisation. Tries came for Keith Shackleton, Peter Gower, Daniel Howard, Kristian Stell and a first ever try for Daniel Robson, one conversion was made by Stell. Final score was Cougar Cubs 22, West Craven Warriors 0. Man of the Match was awarded to full back Keith Shackleton and top tackler was David Iliff. Outstanding effort awards went to Kristian Stell and Peter Gower with Reece Atkinson most improved player.
