Craven Athletic 1 Three Horses 2 - The clash of the title contenders saw Three Horses win by a short head -- and they just about deserved their victory.
Horses started with a bright 10-minute spell but could not turn their chances into goals, as the home team began to get into their stride the Three Horses keeper was called on the put in some good work. Michael Dowse pounced on a goal-keeping error to put Horses ahead at the break.
In the second period the home team had the slightly better exchanges, but their move using centre-forward Robinson, who was making a rare appearance, became a little too predictable and he was well marked. The visitors were always dangerous on the break, and in the 65th minute a through ball found Colin Horsfield unmarked and he put Horses two up.
Athletic had more than one chance, but their shooting was off target and they tended to make one pass too many. With five minutes left on the clock, and with his defence under pressure, Karl Brown put through his own goal, but Craven could not take advantage of the gift to salvage a point.
Stanbury P Rangers 4
Albert Hotel 1
Stanbury are also title contenders, but had to work hard for their victory in the Jeff Hall Trophy, despite the impression given by the final scoreline.
Stanbury started well and were two up midway through the first half thanks to goals from A Grange and S Thompson. After the second strike the visitors woke up and put the home team under sustained pressure without finding the back of the net.
After the break Stanbury went further ahead through Dave Bainbridge, but Albert went on the offensive and were rewarded with a goal from J Baker. They looked to be fighting back well, but the turning point of the game came when they missed a penalty.
Stanbury did not repeat the error when they were awarded a penalty, Steve Waddington making no mistake.
Bocking 8
Raiseprint 1
The first period gave little indication of the onslaught to come with the home team holding a slight advantage in the first 45 minutes. They went in at the break with a 2-1 advantage, but following the re-start Bocking piled into the attack, scoring six goals without reply.
Their scorers were C Stevens (2), S Ginty (2), R Shaw (2), R Townend and A Simmonds.

Cavendish 7
Silsden 2
