Three karate kids based at a Bradford club have been picked for the England squad.
Brown belts Lyndon Burchell, 13, and Ryan McDonald, 17, and orange stripe Carlos Keery-Fisher, 14, will take part in competitions this year for the English Kofukan team.
Their first contest is likely to be the European Champion-ships at East Kilbride, Scotland, in April.
All the boys are members of the Bradford Kofukan club and train at Eccleshill's Mechanics Institute Youth Club.
The club's Neil Howard says: "They have all done very well. We have a good record in Bradford of getting youngsters into the national team."
