West Bowling were rewarded with a home tie against Featherstone Lions after their convincing 22-13 win against East Leeds in the third round of the BNFL National Cup at Bankfoot.
Bowling took an early lead with a great try from junior winger Stuart Reardon. Stand-off Jason Woolham added the conversion.
Shaun Fallon was on hand five minutes later to put Simon Owen through on a run to the posts following a perfect inside pass. With Woolham again making no mistake, Bowling were 12-0 up.
East Leeds rallied with a converted try just before the break, then Reardon was unlucky to be denied his second try due to a forward pass.
The Leeds side levelled the scores with a converted try and then edged one point in front with a drop goal.
But Bowling hit back and after two close efforts it was no surprise when hooker Glenn Barraclough spun his way out of three tackles to plant the ball on the line.
Fallon converted and it was left to prop Richard Greenwood to seal the game when he tore on to Barraclough's inside pass for the final score of the game.
Queensbury make the long journey to Barrow Island following their shock 18-6 win over Hull Dockers at Hill Top.
Queensbury's gamble of leaving influential forward Danny Wilcock out of the team rather than risk aggravating his knee injury paid dividends.
The Bradford team chose to play up the slope in the first half and took a well deserved early lead.
After a 50-metre defence-splitting run from loose forward Trevor Stead, prop forward Gary Prentice dived over from the resulting play-the-ball. Centre Lee Baron converted.
The Dockers drew level with a converted try.
But ten minutes into the second half Queensbury were awarded a penalty try when stand-off Lee Charlton was obstructed as he followed up his own kick to the line. Baron added the two points and soon kicked a penalty.
Queensbury made the game safe when winger Jason Pell squeezed in at the corner.
Clayton A overcame West Bowling B 9-8 to earn a semi-final place against Victoria Rangers in the Hudson and Foster Bradford Cup.
Bowling's Chris Minchella opened the scoring with a try before Bob Keeble crossed for Clayton after a 75-metre dash. The touchline conversion from Keith Trudgill gave the Villagers a 6-4 half-time lead.
Hooker Peter Milne increased the lead with a penalty before adding a vital drop goal.
Bowling's lively stand-off Martin Wright crossed in the corner close to the end but it was too far out for full-back Trevor Tordoff to convert.
Birkenshaw continued on their Pennine League Division One promotion march with a 20-16 home win against Sowerby Bridge Robins. They built up a 10-6 interval lead with a try from full-back Morton Robinson and a try and goal from stand-off Garrod Toulson.
They managed to overcome a below-par performance with further scores from centre Simon Armitage and prop Danny West, plus a conversion from Toulson.
Wyke lost 10-6 at home to Rotherham in Division Two.
Scrum-half Jodie Shaw, Wyke's recent signing from Cleckheaton Rugby Union Club, grabbed his first try for his new club. Winger Paul Metcalfe then kicked a penalty.
Prop forward Richard Medcalfe was outstanding, making 42 drives.
West Bowling A completed the double 14-40 at Halifax Irish to open up an eight-point lead in Division Three.
Chris Scott led the way with four tries, the others coming from Steve Gregory, Mick Gorman and Steve Gallagher.
Paul Ali scored a try and kicked four goals.
Queensbury A centre Mark Kraft marked his return after injury by scoring two of the five tries that earned a 28-18 win at Hillsborough Hawks A.
Queensbury, who remain unbeaten in Division Four, grabbed further tries through Kristen Friebach, who scored twice, and Danny Wilcock.
Hooker Steven Gallagher landed four conversions.
