Detectives hunting a sex attacker who conned his way into his victim's home and held her at knifepoint were today probing fresh leads.
They say appeals for information about the attack on a 36-year-old single mother in Holme Wood, Bradford, have prompted an encouraging response from members of the public.
Several names have been suggested, and police are following three new lines of inquiry.
The team of officers from Odsal CID is also looking at recent incidents of canvassers, sales people and possible bogus officials calling at addresses in the area to see if any links can be made.
Detective Sergeant Billy Murdoch said: "We are delighted with the response from members of the public - particularly people living in the Holme Wood area who are anxious to catch this man."
The attack happened at 10.30pm on February 1. The woman was left severely traumatised and has only just come forward.
DS Murdoch made a renewed appeal for witnesses and said the weapon - a brown-handled knife with ornate carvings - had still not been recovered.
Witnesses or anyone with information which may help police with their inquiries can contact Odsal CID in confidence on Bradford 376885.
