Christopher Kennedy has been selected to take part in an international rugby tour.
The former South Craven School pupil, has been picked for the Yorkshire Clubs Under-18 side which will travel to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji in 2001.
Christopher, from Cononley, won a sports scholarship to study A levels at Giggleswick School.
He has played with both the Yorkshire clubs and schools teams from the age of 14 and first joined the Under-18 schools side when he was just 16 years of age. He plays his club rugby with Wharfedale Colts.
"It is a great honour to be selected for the touring side, but I have to raise £2,000 towards the cost of the trip and I am looking for sponsors to help meet the cost of travel and the squad's kit," he said.
