Oakworth Under-7's A stayed on top of the league with a 2-1 victory over Gomersal. Man of the match Luke Chapman led the comeback as Oaks replied with goals from George Turner and Matthew Moore.
Oakworth Under-7's B suffered an 11-0 defeat at the hands of Gomersal. Kyle Roberts had the best chance for Oaks while Jonathan Greenwood was busy in goal.
Oakworth Under-8's A beat Silsden 2-1 with Ben Lamb scoring both goals. Man of the match was Tom Smith who working tirelessly in midfield, creating many chances. Silsden's man of the match John Golson scored their goal while Ryan Beeley and Simon Todd were on form.
Oakworth Under-8's B lost 5-3 to Silsden and only woke up after going five goals behind. They scored through Adam Brook and Tom Kettlewell (2), but could not force a draw. Man of the match Luke Watson had an inspired second half. Ben Stead scored four of Silsden's goals with Adam Sessford also on target. Stead was man of the match and was well backed up by Andrew Kay and Tom Mohan.
Oakworth Under-10's A played all the football to beat Bradford All Stars 4-2. They scored through Adam Marks, Tom Clark and Glen Wallbank before All Stars pulled two back. Man of the match Wallbank stood tall in a rousing second half with a superb display of grit, he was rewarded with the fourth goal which came from an unstoppable free kick.
Oakworth Under-10's B lost their first game of the season 3-1 at Bradford All Stars. In a below par performance Richard McCollough kept the score down with a fine display in goal while Thomas Thompson scored the consolation effort.
Oakworth Under-10's C played well but lost 3-1 at Bingley. Danny O'Connor's goal was well earned while the improving James Natynczyk again won the man of the match award.
Silsden Under-11's A beat Bradford Park Avenue 2-1 with goals from Chris Levrier and Chris Farnworth. Chris Baines was man of the match and there was a great defensive performance from Andrew Smith.
Long Lee Under-11's A produced another outstanding display to beat Wyke 3-2. Goals came from Anthony Kennedy, Sean Tallon and Matthew O'Hare to put the Keighley side 3-1 up at the interval. Resolute defending from man of the match Gary Cutler and a fine goalkeeping display from Alec Pugh saw Long Lee home.
Three goals in each half gave Long Lee Under-10's A a comfortable 6-0 victory over Cross Roads. Man of the match Adam Spencer led the way with four goals. Callum Whittaker and Joseph Copperwaite added the others.
Long Lee Under-10's B outplayed Ellar Carr at times, but allowed in two late goals which condemned them to a 3-1 defeat. Long Lee's goal was scored by Simon Thornton and Michael Binns was man of the match.
Long Lee Under-13's B returned to winning ways with a 5-3 victory at Oakworth. They fought back from a goal down equalised through Mark Leverton before storming into the lead with a goal from Stefan Ridisi and a hat-trick from man of the match James Pearson.
Long Lee Under-9's A battled well against a stronger Queensbury side before eventually going down 3-1. Daniel Riley scored the Long Lee goal and Craig Donegan was man of the match.
Long Lee Under-8's B drew 1-1 with Queensbury after a great game. All the Long Lee side earned praise, particularly man of the match Niall Burke and goal scorer Matthew Kershaw.
Long Lee Under-8's A played well in difficult conditions against runaway league leaders Shelf, before going down 5-0. The scoreline flattered Shelf slightly while Daniel Riley shaded the man of the match award with Ryan Gaughan and Tim Sale having a great game at the back.
Oakworth Junior Ladies Under-14's kept up their winning run with a 2-1 win over Norristhorpe Bees. Grace Duffy opened the scoring with a spectacular first half goal and although the home side equalised solid defending by Judy Lawrence and Hannah Swales made sure they didn't score again. Girl of the match Leanne Bennett scored Oakworth's second goal and Sarah Jones made some excellent saves.
The previous week the team beat Honley 3-2 after extra time in the Calderdale and Kirklees Shield. After being 2-0 down Leanne Bennett scored twice to take the match into extra time and woman of the match Esther Trofa added the winner to secure a semi-final place.
